This Privacy Policy explains how Closey.ai (“we” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information from brand users of our influencer marketing platform. We are committed to safeguarding your data and complying with all applicable laws and Facebook Developer policies. By using Closey.ai as a brand, you agree to the data practices described in this Policy.

Data We Collect

Personal Data from Facebook Login:
We only collect the basic information needed to create and manage your account when you sign up or log in via Facebook. This includes your name, email address, and Facebook profile ID (public profile). We do not collect any other personal details beyond what Facebook provides during the authentication process, and we do not pull in additional data from your Facebook account without your explicit permission. Currently, we do not gather any data from you apart from this Facebook Login information.

No Additional Data Collection:
Closey.ai does not collect or track any other personal information outside of Facebook Login. We do not request your friends list, photos, posts, or any other data from your social accounts. We also do not collect sensitive information such as addresses, phone numbers, or financial details. Should we ever need to request access to additional data (for example, linking a brand Facebook Page or Instagram account for campaign features), we will ask for your consent and clearly explain why that information is needed. At this time, however, no such data is being collected or processed.

How We Use Your Data

We use the Facebook Login information (name, email, profile ID) to create and authenticate your Closey.ai account and to provide our services. Specifically, this data allows you to:

  • Log In and Account Creation: Your Facebook credentials let you securely sign into Closey.ai without a separate password. We use your name and email to set up your account profile and for communication purposes (e.g. sending important account notifications or support correspondence).

  • Platform Functionality: Your basic profile info may be displayed in your account dashboard or used to personalize your experience (for example, greeting you by name or associating your account with your brand). We may also use your email to send service-related updates such as changes to terms or privacy policy, or information about new features directly related to the Closey.ai platform.

  • Compliance and Security: We retain your Facebook user ID to maintain the link between your Closey.ai account and your Facebook authentication. This helps prevent unauthorized access and allows us to comply with Facebook’s platform rules (for instance, to respond to any Facebook-required data checks or audits). We do not use your personal data for any purpose unrelated to providing and improving the Closey.ai service for you.

We do not use the collected data for advertising or profiling, and we never sell or rent your personal information. The information you provide is used solely to operate the Closey.ai platform and deliver the features you expect. If we plan to use your data for any new purpose, we will update this Privacy Policy and, if required, seek your consent.

User Data Deletion Instructions

Post-Launch Account Deletion:
Once live, deletion will be available under User Settings → Data → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes all personal data unless retained for legal compliance.

Pre-Launch Manual Removal:
To remove access before public launch:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.

  2. Find and remove Closey.ai to revoke permissions.

  3. Contact support@closey.ai for confirmation of data removal.

Legal Compliance:
Providing a clear deletion method is required by law and Facebook policies. We will always honor data deletion requests promptly.

Governing Law:
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
