Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Who We Are

Closey is operated by Br4ve LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Closey”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit closey.ai or use the Closey platform and its AI agents (together, the “Service”).

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information — name, email address, company name, and password (stored hashed) when you create an account.
  • Demo and contact requests — when you book a demo on closey.ai we collect your name, email, company website, preferred date, and timezone.
  • Customer content — campaign briefs, brand materials, creator lists, and other content you submit for the Service to work with.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We receive transaction details (plan, amount, status) but never store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with the Service, collected via server logs and Google Analytics (see Section 7).

Information from connected accounts

  • Google account data — if you sign in with Google or connect a Gmail account, we receive data from Google as described in Section 3.

3. Google User Data (Limited Use Disclosure)

Closey’s core feature is running influencer outreach over email on your behalf. To do this, you can connect a Google account. Depending on the features you enable, we request the following Google OAuth scopes:

  • Sign-in (openid, email, profile) — to authenticate you and create your account.
  • Send email (gmail.send) — so your Closey agents can send outreach and follow-up emails from your address, under the configuration you set.
  • Read email (gmail.readonly) — so your agents can read replies to campaign conversations and keep deal threads up to date.
  • Modify email (gmail.modify) — so your agents can mark handled messages as read and keep your inbox organized.

Closey’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular:

• We only use Gmail data to provide and improve the user-facing features described above. We do not use it for any other purpose.
• We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide those features (see our sub-processors in Section 6), to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.
• We do not use Gmail data for advertising of any kind, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• No humans read your Gmail data unless (a) you give us explicit permission (for example, a support request), (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) it is required to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Disconnecting Google. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the Service, or revoke Closey’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored OAuth tokens and any cached Gmail message data associated with that account.

4. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
  • To run the features you enable — including sending and managing outreach email on your behalf.
  • To process payments, respond to requests, and provide support.
  • To understand usage of our website and improve the Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. AI Processing

The Service uses large language models from third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic) to draft communications, analyze replies, and coordinate campaign work. Content is sent to these providers only as needed to provide the Service, under agreements that prohibit them from using your data to train their models.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the data:

ProviderPurpose
Google Cloud PlatformApplication hosting, infrastructure, and file storage
MongoDB AtlasDatabase hosting
AnthropicAI language model processing
StripePayment processing
CloudflareWebsite hosting, CDN, and security
Google AnalyticsWebsite analytics

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Closey or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data).

7. Cookies and Analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use closey.ai; Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives usage data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

  • We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
  • When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete personal information within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.
  • Gmail OAuth tokens and cached Gmail data are deleted when you disconnect your Google account (Section 3).
  • To request deletion at any time, email [email protected].

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and hashed credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data on servers located in the US and the EU (depending on the infrastructure region). If you access the Service from outside the US, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Children

The Service is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice).
